10 Rarest Pals In Palworld You May Have Missed

10 Rarest Pals In Palworld You May Have Missed

Though not as extensive as other creature-collecting games, Palworld has a Paldeck full of interesting monsters for players to try to find or breed to collect all of, and some can be pretty rare finds. Currently, there are 137 Pals available in the Paldeck, with some of those only being available through breeding. As Palworld continues to grow and matures out of Early Access status, there will likely be many more Pals joining the Paldeck, so now is the best time to work on getting all the rarest Pals already in the game.

Pals in this world of survival can assist with many of the tasks around the base or help with combat and adventuring. Some of Palworld‘s Pals are quite easy to find and tame, but others can take a bit more effort. In fact, many Pals only have one location in the game where they can be found, or may only be available during the night, or might not even exist outside careful breeding tactics. These are the Pals that provide a truly rewarding feeling of victory when tamed and added to the roster.

Palworld wears its many inspirations on both sleeves, but this monster-catching open-world survival sim could have some serious legs.

10 Jormuntide Ignis: The Volcanic Emperor

Dragon And Fire Element Pal, Paldeck #101B

Jormuntide Ignis in the Paldeck Palworld

Jormuntide Ignis is the fiery variant of the Water Pal Jormuntide, and is a reclusive creature who can only be spotted in one location on the map. Thankfully, the Pal is not exclusive to day or night and can be seen at any time, although the rarity of its spawning is slim, and it will only be found in the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary. Once tamed, Jormuntide Ignis makes for a fantastic ally, worker, and mount in Palworld, but that requires finding them first. If the Pal isn’t on the island upon visiting, it’s possible to fly away and come back to respawn the Pals there.

9 Flower Gumoss: A Pal To Brighten Any Garden

Grass & Ground Element Pal, Paldeck #013B

Special Flower Gumoss in Palworld

Gumoss on its own is a cute little blob, but it is also a common Grass Element Pal to find around in Palworld, making it not quite as special anymore. This muddy little Pal has a special variant that is quite rare, however, and will require a lot of patience and searching to find. The Flower Gumoss is essentially the same, other than featuring a beautiful red flower sprouting off the top of its head rather than the simple leaf that other Gumoss carry. It is found in the same locations as other Gumoss but with a much rarer spawn probability.

8 Shadowbeak: The Pal Of Madness

Shadowbeak’s ominous Paldeck entry states that he may not even be able to be considered a Pal anymore due to the genetic modifications this poor creature has undergone, turning it into a very rare Dark Element Pal in Palworld. Only located in the very dangerous, high-level area of the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary, catching Shadowbeak is usually an endgame task, and its spawn rate is rare, so it may require several trips to the Sanctuary before spotting it. Though it does not offer much for working at a base, this Pal is an incredible mount and combatant if one can catch it.

7 Necromus: A Powerful Dark Knight

Dark Element Pal, Paldeck #109

Necromus, a Legendary Dark-type Pal in Palworld, shown in the Paldeck.

Necromus can only be found in one location, at the tip of the Dessicated Desert far in the northeastern corner of the map. It is one of the most difficult Pals to defeat and tame, as it is a boss that spawns along with Paladius, and is a Level 50 Alpha Pal. Once captured, however, Necromus is one of the fastest ground mounts in Palworld and a powerful fighter, particularly when paired with its best friend Paladius.

6 Vaelet: A Living Flower Spirit Beetle

Grass Element Pal, Paldeck #078

Vaelet in Palworld

Other than an Alpha Boss in the Sealed Realm of the Guardian, Vaelet can only be found on the No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary Island and only spawns occasionally. Because of the guards in the area, and the need to fly or use a water Pal just to reach the island, finding and catching Vaelet becomes no small task. Once added to a collection, however, Vaelet are beneficial Pals to have around with their useful third-level ability in Medicine as well as other work suitabilities.

5 Elphidran Aqua: Beautiful Colors In A Useful Dragon

Dragon & Water Element Pal, Paldeck #080B

Elphidran is already a wonderful Pal to have in Palworld, and its rare, alternate-color variant is even more special a creature. Getting the stunning Elphidran Aqua can only be done through breeding a Surfent and Elphidran, with no spawns anywhere on the map or as an Alpha boss. Because it is only obtained through this very specific breeding, it is an incredibly rare Pal to have. Because it adds the Water Element to its Dragon Element makeup, it has slightly different strengths and abilities than the traditional Dragon Element Elphidran.

4 Frostallion Noct: The Legendary Darker Cousin Of Frostallion

Dark Element Pal, Paldeck #110B

Palworld legendary Frostallion Noct

Frostallion Noct is an alternate variant of Frostallion and looks the same, other than being black and purple in its coloration, yet rather than being an Ice Element Pal, it takes on the full force of a Dark Element Pal instead. Like the Elphidran Aqua, getting a Legendary Frostallion Noct is only possible through very careful and specific breeding. This rare creature is not found in any location in the game and requires a Frostallion and a Helzephyr to create an egg, both of which can be difficult to catch as well.

3 Grizzbolt: The Unofficial Palworld Mascot Is An Elusive Catch

Electric Element Pal, Paldeck #103

Despite being a commonly seen figurehead in many of the marketing images for Palworld, the giant yellow Grizzbolt is one of the rarer Pals to find. Like Vaelet, Grizzbolt is only seen at the No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary in the Palpagos Islands. Even once a player has made their way into this preserve, Grizzbolt is still not guaranteed, and will only spawn occasionally. The minigun-loving, mountable Pal is rare, but worth the effort with its impressive electricity benefits and combat, as well as looking incredibly cool.

2 Lunaris: An Extraterrestrial With The Powers Of Gravity

Neutral Element Pal, Paldeck #063

Lunaris is the only Neutral Element Pal to be on this list of rare finds, but as an alien life form, it is natural that it would not be a common creature. There is only one single location in Palworld where Lunaris might spawn, and even once found, it is not an easy task to subdue this Level 32 Alpha Pal. Lunaris has a rare spawn rate inside the Sealed Realm of the Esoteric in the Sea Breeze Archipelago.

1 Kitsun: A Valuable Mount For Hot Or Cold Weather

Fire Element Pal, Paldeck #061

Kitsun next to some lava in Palworld

This stunning Pal is a very easy one to miss for most players if they don’t know what they are looking for. Kitsun’s very rare spawn happens in only one location, and it isn’t convenient to get to by being located at the top of the snowy mountain in the middle of the map. Even though Kitsun is not a Dark Element Pal, it only appears at night, and very rarely will it spawn even then. If a player gets lucky and sees the Kitsun, it gets even more difficult as this Pal will flee very quickly. If caught, Kitsun can offer protection against hot and cold when used as a mount and is a powerful fighter, but also one of the rarest Pals in all of Palworld.
