10 Most Powerful Characters In Ahsoka, Ranked

10 Most Powerful Characters In Ahsoka, Ranked

Warning! Spoilers ahead for Ahsoka episode 6!Ahsoka features many powerful characters, and here’s our ranking of the top ten. Viewers often tend to focus on power in the Force as an indicator of a character’s ability, but that’s probably not the best approach. Raw power is, after all, principally associated with the dark side, and the most venerated Jedi have included beings who were far from skilled in combat.

All that means any ranking of Ahsoka‘s characters has to factor in several variables. Intelligence, experience, skill with weapons other than lightsabers, and countless other factors have to be taken into account. Here’s our ranking of the top ten Ahsoka characters.

10 Marrok

10 Most Powerful Characters In Ahsoka, Ranked

The Inquisitor named Marrok is intimidating in his own right, but he’s still lowest on this list because of his clear lack of potential. Marrok engaged Ahsoka Tano in two duels, but was clearly overmatched. In the end, Marrok depended too much on the intimidation factor of his spinning lightsaberk, and Ahsoka wasn’t impressed. It’s likely Marrok wouldn’t have stood a chance against Sabine with her weapons expertise.

9 Sabine Wren

Sabine holds her hand out to use the Force in Ahsoka episode 6.

Despite Huyang’s insistence she would make for a poor candidate for the Jedi, Sabine has defied many expectations set upon her. Although she is unable to wield the Force, she has proven her talent with all manner of Mandalorian weapons and armor, as well as the ultimate Jedi weapon — the lightsaber. While it’s true Sabine lost in both her duels against Shin Hati, the second battle took a surprising amount of time, suggesting a little more experience would probably make Sabine Shin’s match.

8 Shin Hati

Shin Hati fighting against Sabine Wren

Shin Hati has more than proven herself in combat against Sabine, but against anyone more powerful than that she has not been able to hold her own. Shin is certainly more capable of using the Force than Sabine, but she was still easily thrown to the side by Ahsoka during her fight with Baylan Skoll. She has shown a tendency for letting her emotions get the best of her, as seen when Sabine decies to surrender the starmap and Baylan had to stop her from killing Sabine. This is a dangerous quality for a warrior to have, as an emotional warrior begins to make mistakes.

7 Morgan Elsbeth

Ahsoka Morgan Elsbeth

Morgan Elsbeth iis a Nightsister who is well-versed in the arts of Force magick. She showed tremendous combat skill in The Mandalorian season 2, even if she was defeated by Ahsoka Tano in a duel. Morgan’s greatest weakness, identified by Grand Admiral Thrawn, seems to be to underestimate her opponents – leaving Baylan to take care of things without ensuring her death. This may well be the cause of her downfall.

6 Ezra Bridger

Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka Episode 6-1

Ezra Bridger hasn’t had a major role in Ahsoka so far, but his power and potential were amply demonstrated in Star Wars Rebels. His Force-potential was powerful enough to catch the eye of a Jedi during the Dark Times, and even Darth Maul was interested in trying to recruit him to his cause. Ezra’s ultimate act of heroism was in Star Wars Rebels‘ finale, when he summoned purrgil to drag Grand Admiral Thrawn’s flagship away to Peridea. He’ll probably go up on this list as soon as he’s had chance to demonstrate his power in Ahsoka, too.

5 Baylan Skoll

Baylan Skoll vs. Ahsoka Tano in Ahsoka episode 4

Baylan Skoll is perhaps the biggest unknown in all of Ahsoka. Baylan’s Jedi backstory is still a mystery, but he certainly seems to be skilled, defeating Ahsoka in a duel. He’s noted for wielding an unusual orange-bladed lightsaber, one with a remarkable weight that has forced him to adapt Form V. Baylan also seems to have an unusual connection to the Force that allows him to sense the flow of events, and Morgan Elsbeth has learned to trust his judgment. This proved a mistake, though, because Baylan had no idea Ahsoka survived their duel – suggesting there’s a limit to his abilities.

4 Grand Admiral Thrawn

One of the Empire’s top strategists, Grand Admiral Thrawn is a military genius who the Emperor believed could have ended the Galactic Civil War in his favor if he hadn’t been stranded at Peridea. Thrawn may not use the Force, but he’s a skilled combatant with an incredible mind. It’s particularly impressive to see that Thrawn has managed to rally his troops at Peridea, and they seem incredibly loyal. He’s as shark as ever, as proven during his brief conversations with Morgan Elsbeth in Ahsoka episode 6.

3 Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka reflects Sith eyes when facing Anakin in Ahsoka episode 5.

Ahsoka Tano has gone head-to-head with some tremendously powerful enemies, and she’s triumphed because of both her incredible Force abilities and her training with Anakin Skywalker. Even as a teenager, Ahsoka successfully defeated fellow Jedi Knight Barriss Offee and the rogue former Sith apprentice Darth Maul, both of whom were physically stronger than her. She survived Order 66 due to her own skills, although she would have been killed by Darth Vader when they dueled during the Dark Times of the Empire’s reign. Ahsoka has now experienced something of a transformation, becoming Ahsoka the White.

2 The Great Mothers

The Great Mothers in Ahsoka episode 6

Ahsoka has introduced the Great Mothers, and it’s reasonable to assume they operate at similar power levels to Mother Talzin in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She was considered a rival by Emperor Palpatine himself, and there are three of these Great Mothers – meaning their powers could well synergize. The Great Mothers were able to reach out across the galaxies to summon Morgan Elsbeth; given Luke Skywalker killed himself projecting himself through the Force across a much lesser distance, they are clearly remarkable. The Great Mothers are one of the most terrifying threats that Ahsoka and the others have ever faced.

1 Anakin Skywalker

Anakin with Red Lightsaber in Ahsoka Episode 5 Image

Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One, is perhaps the most powerful Force-user in all history. Anakin Skywalker has more than proven just how frightening he can be in combat, and just surviving an encounter with him after he became Darth Vader is a feat. It’s still unknown whether the Anakin Skywalker seen in Ahsoka was real or a figment of her imagination, but assuming he was real then he’s unparalleled now he’s become a Force Ghost. That easily makes Anakin Skywalker top of this Ahsoka power ranking.
