10 New Mounts For Players To Fly On

New Broomsticks And Beasts Are Both Welcome

One of the fun aspects of Hogwarts Legacy is the chance to fly around and explore the beautiful landscape on either a broomstick or a flying creature. While many players prefer using brooms due to their unique look and feel, plus being so characteristically magical, the game does have several unique options in both categories. Expanding these choices provided for flying beasts and offering new looks for brooms could be a fairly simple cosmetic change that would be very appreciated and used often.

9 Pet Companion For The Main Character

Adding A Non-Combat Pet Would Be A Cheerful Extra

Hogwarts Legacy Player Interacting With Two Kneazles In Vivarium

In Harry Potter lore, typically students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry would have a pet that was solely their own. These special animal companions would not need to be usable in combat in Hogwarts Legacy, but it would be nice to have nonetheless. Simply being able to purchase a non-combat pet, or choose one from the Vivarium, and have it accompany the player in the game would add a wonderful immersive quality, and help make up for the fact that the main character doesn’t have many close friends at the school.

8 Updates To The Vivarium

More Magical Beasts To Find

Golden Snidgets in Hogwarts Legacy

The magical world created for the Harry Potter franchise has many more beasts than those that are represented in the current version of Hogwarts Legacy. Although the moral and ethical ramifications of the Vivarium are up for debate, it is nonetheless a fun thing to try to collect creatures to house inside the student’s magical zoo. Having even more possible beasts to find, and hopefully providing more room in the Vivarium to hold them all, would be a fun extra bit of content to expand the game a bit.

7 Side Quests To Take Players To Azkaban Or Other Locations

Currently, Only Hufflepuffs Can Visit Azkaban In Hogwarts Legacy

Although it would be amazing to add entirely new locations to Hogwarts Legacy, such as visiting other magical schools or even Diagon Alley, those types of expansive content may be better suited for a Hogwarts Legacy sequel. Something that would be more easily accomplished for this summer’s content updates to the game, however, would be to add new possibilities to visit Azkaban for players of all Houses. Currently, Hufflepuff students can see inside the wizard prison during their House-exclusive questline, which means that the developers already have some assets for Azkaban at their disposal. A second quest that all players could take on would be possible.

6 Additional Cosmetic Items For Fun Customizations

Dressing Up Is Always Magical

Hogwarts Legacy has a fantastic array of cosmetic items for player outfits, ranging from studious to silly. There is always room for more, however, as the modding community for the game has shown through their continued efforts to make more and more clothing items. Providing more clothing in the anticipated content updates would be rather disappointing if that is all that gets added, but in tandem with other content, many players would welcome a fresh style.

5 New Spells To Learn

Whether From Teachers, Or Dark Arts Learned Secretly

Spellcasting is a major focus of the entire game of Hogwarts Legacy, as it should be. While there are already plenty of spells to have an engaging magical experience as a witch or wizard, it never hurts to add a couple more. Naturally, this could cause problems with throwing off the balance of combat in the game, but even adding more humorous ones such as the Piertotum Locomotor incantation to bring objects to life or Furnunculus, the Pimple Jinx, would be quite entertaining.

4 Expanding The Map For More Locations To Explore

Previously Cut Areas During Development Could Return

Unconfirmed leaks when Hogwarts Legacy was first released stated that the map in the game had areas that developers didn’t have a chance to finish and therefore cut from the game before release. If this is true, it would be very feasible that content updates to Hogwarts Legacy this summer could open up those locations, which possibly include parts of the Highlands and Swamp areas. These could offer the settings for extra DLC or new quests to take place.

3 More Classes For Students To Attend

It Is A School After All

For a game set in the prestigious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, there is surprisingly little schooling going on in the game. While there are chances for players to attend some classes, it is a minor piece in the larger game. For this reason, some rumors have spread that additional content to Hogwarts Legacy might include more class time with creative minigames included as part of the experience.

2 Endgame Content DLC For After The School Year Ends

Continuing After The Semester

Without giving any spoilers, it is safe to say that the end of the game matches up with the end of the school year, and many have lamented the lack of endgame content. If this summer brings DLC to the game, having a storyline play out following the end of the semester where the game left off would be a natural progression. This would also allow those who have grown fond of the character that they beat the game with to have a chance to play with the same character again rather than starting a new character for the updates.

1 The Long-Desired Quidditch DLC

Will Professor Black Ever Relent And Allow Quidditch

Ultimately, the feature that most players are hoping for from any kind of added content or DLC to Hogwarts Legacy would be the inclusion of Quidditch. This has been a sore point for the game since its release, as having even the smallest chance to play the wizarding sport was heavily anticipated by many. Although it would be a massive overhaul for developers to rewrite the game to include Quidditch throughout the game, perhaps offering a chance to play one game of it at the end of the school year would help put some smiles on players of Hogwarts Legacy.
