10 Hardest Bosses In Lies Of P, Ranked By Difficulty

10 Hardest Bosses In Lies Of P, Ranked By Difficulty

Like almost all Action RPG games, the ultimate enemies facing the protagonist in Lies of P are its many powerful and intimidating bosses. Although some of the game’s early bosses are not challenging at all, a number of Lies of P‘s later boss battles are incredibly difficult — even for the most experienced of players. In spite of varying difficulty, almost all of the bosses in Lies of P are incredibly well-designed, and the vast majority of them will test Pinocchio to his very limits — both in terms of his combat prowess, strategic mastery, and willpower.

A dark reimagining of Carlo Collodi’s nineteenth-century children’s novel, The Adventures of Pinocchio, Lies of P shines in a number of ways. Its storytelling, aesthetic, and customization options all contribute to ensuring that Lies of P lives up to the eager anticipation that its announcement was met with. Beyond many cosmetic customization options in Pinocchio’s costume and accessories, Lies of P allows the selection of any of eight Legion Arms and numerous weapons to outfit the protagonist for success in combat — decisions that will be of unparalleled importance when going into some of the games most challenging boss battles.

10 Door Guardian

10 Hardest Bosses In Lies Of P, Ranked By Difficulty

Located at the Black Seaside, the Door Guardian is an unavoidable mini-boss blocking the entrance to Arche Abbey. The Door Guardian is a fairly typical slow and lumbering sort of boss. Although it has a limited move set, further restricted by its mobility issues, the Door Guardian can deal an extraordinary amount of damage if Pinocchio isn’t careful. The key to defeating his behemoth is to employ rolling attacks and ground pounds, and to take full advantage of fatal attacks when the Door Guardian is knocked off its feet. Upon defeat, the Door Guardian mini-boss drops a High-level Alchemist Badge.

9 The Black Rabbit Brotherhood

Black Rabbit Brotherhood in Lies of P.

The Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss battle is a two-stage battle; the first sees Pinnochio simultaneously going up against the surviving Black Rabbit brothers – Youngest, Eccentric, and Battle Maniac; the second stage triggers after two of the brothers are defeated, at which time, the Eldest Black Rabbit brother is resurrected to fight alongside the one remaining brother from the first stage. Located in the Relic of Trismegistus Combat Field beneath Hotel Krat, the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss battle is certainly one of the hardest in Lies of P – primarily due to the uneven number of combatants.

8 Corrupted Parade Master

Corrupted Parade Master in Lies of P.

Located in Krat Central Station Square, the Parade Master is the first boss in Lies of P — it is also the easiest by far. The Corrupted Parade Master, however, is a significantly more formidable opponent. The Corrupted Parade Master has an impressive arsenal of attacks, including sweeping attacks and the ability to summon minions to attack Pinocchio. Furthermore, the Corrupted Parade Master has a powerful decay ability which can rapidly drain health.

7 Champion Victor

Champion Victor is a pugilist without equal in Krat. This one-time champion boxer is now a ravaged-looking zombie-esque creature possessing the power and speed to match the greatest of prizefighters. Located within the Grand Exhibition, Champion Victor can prove to be incredibly overwhelming and unrelenting. This combined with his awesome punching power and incredible speed make Champion Victor one of the hardest bosses to beat in Lies of P – especially when he becomes enraged.

6 Fallen Archbishop Andreus

Fallen Archbishop Andreus in Lies of P.

Encountered in the St. Frangelico Cathedral Library, Fallen Archbishop Andreus was once a man of god, however, he has since been corrupted and is now an enormous, powerful, and terrifying beast. Although occurring relatively early in Lies of P, this boss battle is no walk in the park and will test those new to the game beyond any of their previous experiences in a playthrough – especially during his second phase. Although fairly resistant to most attacks, the Fallen Archbishop Andreus boss is quite vulnerable to fire attacks – make sure to obtain and equip the Flamberge Legion Arm prior to beginning this challenging battle.

5 Green Monster Of The Swamp

Green Monster Of The Swamp Lies of P

Based on the Green Fisherman, an ogre that attempts to eat Pinocchio in The Adventures of Pinocchio, the Green Monster of the Swamp is an incredibly difficult boss who will undoubtedly cause even the most experienced to feel the pressure. Located in the Barren Swamp Nest, the Green Monster of the Swamp is perhaps the most aggressive boss in Lies of P. Although difficult from the start, this boss battle is made all the more challenging during the second Green Monster of the Swamp’s phase when it becomes the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster.

4 King Of Puppets

Golden King of Puppets in Lies of P.

Encountered fairly early in the game in the Estella Opera House Stage, the King of Puppets is perhaps the most challenging boss before obtaining any really high-end weaponry or amulets – a fact that only adds to the difficulty of this two-stage boss battle. The first stage of the battle is comparatively simple, as Pinocchio faces the automaton King of Puppets; however, in the battle’s second phase Pinocchio must defeat Romeo, King of Puppets – herein lies the challenge. Romeo is incredibly aggressive and quick, with the added challenge of immensely high damage. This is certainly one of the hardest battles in all of Lies of P.

3 Simon Manus, Arm Of God

Simon Manus, Arm Of God Lies of P

Simon Manus is the ultimate adversary in Lies of P and acts as the game’s final boss. Unsurprisingly, therefore, defeating this boss is remarkably difficult. Like many boss battles in the game, the Simon Manus battle is a two-stage fight, with the first phase, Simon Manus, Arm of God, proving to be difficult but manageable provided one gets the timing down; the second phase, however, is where things get very hard. Simon Manus, Awakened God’s ranged attacks are devastatingly powerful and have outstanding range. Beyond this, he is lightning-fast and almost impossible to avoid. For a game full of memorable boss battles, this final battle does not disappoint; however, it does frustrate.

2 Laxasia The Complete

Laxasia The Complete in Lies of P.

Located on the Ascension Bridge beside the Arche Abbey Prayer Room Stargazer, Laxasia the Complete is a two-stage boss battle with vastly different threats each time. The first stage is typified by Laxasia the Complete’s incredibly high armor stat and constant slow, yet deadly, attacks. The second stage represents a completely different challenge, without her armor, Laxasia the Complete is significantly more mobile, with impressive speed and agility – she will also employ teleporting attacks and powerful explosive projectiles. Overall, although painfully difficult, Laxasia the Complete’s boss battle is one of the best in the game from a pure entertainment perspective.

1 Nameless Puppet

Nameless Puppet in Lies of P.

Although an optional battle, depending upon choices made at the end of the game, the Nameless Puppet is the true final boss in Lies of P. If Pinocchio refuses to give Geppetto his heart after defeating Simon Manus, Geppetto will release a previous project – the Nameless Puppet. Located Under the Abyss, the Nameless Puppet lives up to final boss status; it is insanely fast and powerful.

Both stages of this secret boss are relentlessly aggressive and can quickly overwhelm Pinocchio. The best method for overcoming this challenge is to parry and stagger – failing this, Pinocchio will need extraordinary skills or luck. The Nameless Puppet is undoubtedly the hardest boss in Lies of P.
