10 Coolest Partner Skills In Palworld

10 Coolest Partner Skills In Palworld

Palworld has several features that players can focus on, which their collected Pals can assist with using a variety of skills, including the unique Partner Skills that each Pal holds. Everything from mining to combat can be improved upon with these abilities, giving each type of Pal their own benefit. While some Partner Skills may be extra powerful or useful, others are positively cool.

The Partner Skills in Palworld will sometimes unlock as soon as the Pal has been captured, while others may have certain requirements before they can be used. These Partner Skill abilities each have different purposes depending on the Pal, but all include a form of teamwork between the main character and the Pal. With a variety of abilities at hand, every player will find their own preferred Pals that work best in combination with their playstyle. Below are some of the coolest Partner Skills in the game.

10 Fluffy Shield: A Sad Defense Move

Lamball (Paldeck #001)

The fact that a giant cotton ball can be used as a shield in Palworld is pretty cool. It also seems as though it could be difficult to hit anything with the amount of fluffy wool that makes up Lamball, but then for anyone with any amount of heart, it would be even more difficult to shoot when they see the sad look on the adorable creature’s face. The Fluffy Shield Partner Skill consists of the player using one hand to hold Lamball up in front of them, while poor Lamball has a hurt look on its face and tears in its eyes.

9 Telepeck: A Spooky Long-Range Attack

Cawgnito (Paldeck #044)

10 Coolest Partner Skills In Palworld

Cawgnito is a spooky Pal, with the appearance of a plague doctor, including their iconic mask, hat, and cloak. This dark bird has a special Partner Skill called Telepeck where the player can target a creature at a long distance and send Cawgnito after them to perform a powerful Phantom Peck. Teleporting next to the targeted creature, Cawgnito will give one sharp peck, doing a considerable amount of damage, and then they will run back to the main character.

8 Lifmunk Recoil: Submachine Gun Headwear

Lifmunk (Paldeck #004)

The adorable Lifmunk takes on an edgy look when they are equipped with an SMG. That dangerous glint in the Lifmunk’s eye becomes even more serious when the Lifmunk Recoil partner ability is activated, as Lifmunk will then leap onto the head of the main character and fire its submachine gun at whoever the player is attacking. While one would think it could easily cause some hearing damage from that position, it is a very cool look.

Forget The Guns, Palworld Has One Item That’s Especially Brutal

A lot has been said about the different weapons in Palworld, but those who have never played probably don’t know about its most brutal weapon.

7 Dream Chaser: Chasing Attacks With Magic Bullets

Daedream (Paldeck #019)

Dreams can come true when Daedream is around, or at least very specific dreams involving magic bullets can. Daedream’s special Partner Skill is called Dream Chaser and, when activated, Daedream will float near the player and add magic bullets to the player’s attacks. Simply the concept of “magic bullets” is frightening, yet when Daedream is on the side of the player, it is a very cool skill to have.

6 Pengullet Cannon: Use Pals As Ammo

Pengullet (Paldeck #010)

The cute little Pengullet may not look very menacing at first glance, but when it is fired out of a rocket launcher to explode on contact with its target, it certainly looks a bit more serious. This cool little blue penguin is the perfect size to fit as ammunition inside a rocket launcher. After striking its target and exploding, Pengullet becomes incapacitated.

5 Cheery Rifle: Cute And Deadly

Tanzee (Paldeck #008)

Palworld Tanzee image of two Tanzee each holding large guns

Tanzee looks like a sweet little green monkey that one wouldn’t mind having as a pet in the real world with its big round eyes and mischievous grin. At least, until Tanzee catches sight of a gun, that is. This little monkey has a love of guns, as is noted by its Partner Skill, Cheery Rifle, which, when used, Tanzee will mercilessly open fire using an assault rifle at any and all nearby enemies.

Palworld Is Missing One Essential Function, But It May Be On Purpose

There’s one oversight in Palworld that’s especially glaring, but there are a couple of interesting explanations as to why that could be the case.

4 Eggbomb Launcher: Using A Bird Like A Grenade Launcher

Tocotoco (Paldeck #027)

Palworld player using Tocotoco as an exploding egg launcher

Tocotoco is a colorful bird in Palworld with even more colorful habits of exploding. Wild Tocotocos will chase player characters to try to explode on them, and once befriended, the bomb-like fun can be harnessed as a unique type of grenade launcher using Tocotoco’s exploding eggs with its Eggbomb Launcher Partner Skill. While the Pal does not appear too appreciative of being used in that manner, or comfortable, it is hard to deny the coolness of shooting explosive eggs out of a bird at enemies.

3 Antigravity: Cool, But Sounds More Effective Than It Is

Lunaris (Paldeck #063)

Palworld Lunaris

Catching Lunaris is a feat in itself, as this Pal is a tough level 32 boss battle just to get one. Its space-themed appearance and floating nature, combined with how hard it is to come by, leave reason to believe that its Partner Skill will be a powerful attack. While that is not the case, it is quite helpful to have around with its unique Antigravity skill, which, though not helpful in combat, will increase the player’s max carrying capacity. The very concept that a player is having its carrying capacity increased through antigravity is cool enough to warrant placement on this list, although it would be helpful if the antigrav could work on other things as well.

2 Huggy Fire: The Warmest Of Hugs

Foxparks (Paldeck #004)

Palworld Foxparks

As an early-game Pal in Palworld, Foxparks still looks like a youngster that is learning how to control its powers. Yet, when combined with the player for the Partner Skill Huggy Fire, Foxparks can become one of the most impressive flamethrowers around. Its use of firepower can be a powerful weapon in combat, or for cooking.

1 Caffeine Inoculation: A Cool Skill That Is Surprisingly Relatable

Depresso (Paldeck #017)

Palworld Depresso

Depresso’s coolness knows no bounds, particularly in the fact that many players can relate to the sad little blue Pal. Its Partner Skill is unique, being very different from the other Pals. Using the Caffeine Inoculation skill, Depresso will drink a massive amount of energy drinks, thereby increasing its movement speed. The silliness doesn’t take away from the strategy, however, making Depresso an incredibly cool Pal in Palworld.
