10 Coolest New Weapons In Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, Ranked

10 Coolest New Weapons In Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, Ranked

Cyberpunk 2077 has always offered some special, one-of-a-kind weapons called Iconic weapons with unique names and powerful extra abilities, and the new Phantom Liberty DLC has added even more for V to enjoy collecting. Completing many of the story missions will lead V to some of the best Iconics, but there are many more to be found. Entering Dogtown for the new spy-thriller storyline of the DLC means not only are there a lot of new shady individuals to loot and a black market to explore, but there are also airdrops that often have some valuable rewards.

It can be easy to miss out on some of the hidden Iconic weapons in the game, but Phantom Liberty‘s black market vendors have made it possible to purchase some that V may not have grabbed. Cyberpunk 2077‘s free Update 2.0, which was released just days before the new DLC, also added some Iconics to the base game, which can now show up in the black market, so players do not have to go back to a prior save or restart their game to obtain them. Here are some of the coolest new weapons that V can enjoy playing around with in the new Phantom Liberty and Update 2.0 content.

10 Murphy’s Law: Iconic One-Handed Club

10 Coolest New Weapons In Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, Ranked

Murphy’s Law is an Iconic One-Handed Club in Phantom Liberty that gives a +50% armor penetration buff but also includes a special feature that gave it its title. Similar to the traditional idiom of Murphy’s Law which states “anything that can go wrong, will”, this Club has a high likelihood of providing an extra bonus effect to either shock, bleed, or stun its victims. This weapon can be found as loot from Kurt Hansen’s lieutenants in the Mission “Firestarter.”

9 Hawk: Iconic Power Assault Rifle

President Myers Holdin Hawk in Phantom Liberty DLC of Cyberpunk 2077

In one of the opening missions for the Phantom Liberty DLC storyline, “Lucretia My Reflection,” President Myers uses this Iconic Power Assault Rifle very effectively for her own protection. Although it doesn’t logically make sense, she leaves it behind in the area when she and Solomon Reed leave, leaning against a box. The Hawk can provide +175% headshot damage and +25% armor penetration, and it weakens and marks enemies that have been struck with it in a way that they cannot use abilities, do less damage to others, and even lose their balance.

8 Nehan: Iconic Knife

Phantom Liberty's Solomon Reed With The Nehan Iconic Knife In Front of Him

Nehan is an Iconic Knife that can be purchased from the Black Market Vendor in Phantom Liberty for 110,638 credits. This small and unassuming little Knife can pack a heavy punch, with bonus melee damage, +30% Bleeding chance, and a +150% Headshot Damage Multiplier when thrown. If its victim already has bleed damage from Satori, Nehan will cause the enemy to hemorrhage, draining their health while regenerating V’s.

7 Ogou: Iconic Smart Pistol

The default female V and a helmeted Cyberpunk character firing a gun.

Ogou is an Iconic Smart Pistol that not only offers a lot of decent base stats and buffs but also includes a cool ability to have two explosive rounds with a high chance of dismemberment. Not many pistols have the ability to fire explosive rounds anyway, but add that to the +50% Headshot Damage Multiplier, +25% Armor Penetration, +50% Crit Damage, 1.2 second Lock-on Time, and the dismemberment odds, and it is about as much fun as a little pistol can be. Ogou can be looted off the Robot R MK2 boss from the Gig “Treating Symptoms.”

6 Wild Dog: Iconic Power Light Machine Gun

Wild Dog is not only a fantastic weapon, but it also happens to be Kurt Hansen’s weapon that V can loot off his corpse if they kill him. Clearly, the leader of Dogtown and creator of its infamous Black Market would have a good gun of his own, and Wild Dog doesn’t disappoint. Not only does it include a +85% headshot damage multiplier and +25% armor penetration, but when V runs out of ammo, it can also be used as a club for impressive amounts of melee damage.

5 Rasetsu: Iconic Tech Sniper Rifle

The Iconic weapon Rasetsu is a Tech Sniper Rifle which V gets during the Mission “You Know My Name” after taking control of a sniper turret. As a Sniper Rifle, it has +300% headshot damage and +50% armor penetration, but its really impressive feature is that when shots have been charged, they have the ability to not only penetrate the enemy aimed at but can then turn to change directions and strike multiple foes down in one shot.

4 Her Majesty: Iconic Power Pistol

Her Majesty gun in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

Her Majesty is given to V as a gift from Alex after discussing the mission of how to save Songbird with her in the main campaign for Phantom Liberty. This beautiful Iconic Power Pistol has a fairly slow attack speed but is very powerful to make up for it. If the Optical Camo is active, Her Majesty will have perfect accuracy and headshot crits.

3 Errata: Iconic Thermal Katana

How To Get The Thermal Katana In Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

The Errata is an Iconic Thermal Katana that was added to Cyberpunk 2077 with update 2.0, and can be easily purchased from Dogtown vendors with the Phantom Liberty DLC. It looks like a beautiful Katana, and the Nano Filament Heated Blade turns this otherwise ordinary melee weapon into a fiery poker that can give a +30% burn chance to enemies when hit, causing guaranteed critical damage.

2 Order: Iconic Tech Shotgun

Order from Cyberpunk 2077

Order looks impressive as a double-barrel shotgun and does damage to match with a +100% armor penetration. It can be purchased from black market vendors in Dogtown and deals massive amounts of additional damage when charged above 66% by destroying every enemy in its line of fire and leaving behind an EMP trail.

1 Gris-Gris: Iconic Tech Revolver

Gris Gris in Cyberpunk 2077

Gris-Gris is easily the most fun that can be had with a weapon in Cyberpunk 2077, although it isn’t easy to come by, requiring a lot of back and forth to find. This Iconic Tech Revolver in Phantom Liberty offers a +150% headshot damage buff in addition to +50% armor penetration and 0.75 second charge time, but that isn’t all. The best feature is that each hit with the Gris-Gris can potentially upload a random quickhack to its victim. This means that one enemy could suddenly go blind, one might start attacking its friends, or any other number of random effects. Plus, the Gris-Gris looks pretty cool, too.
