Easily the most anticipated segment of DC Fandome, The Batman delivered in regards to a great discussion from the cast and director, as well as a brand new trailer featuring never-before-seen footage. The Flash is another project that fans are hotly anticipating thanks to its links to the Multiverse and the retelling of the famous Flashpoint storyline. Audiences were thrilled by the trailer for the project, which fully confirmed the Multiverse in play.

While Michael Keaton’s Batman and his Batmobile were the talk of the town, as well as Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, the trailer dropped the major reveal that there would be multiple iterations of Barry Allen throughout the film. There were some interesting tidbits here but the major thing fans learned from the interactions was concerning the visual designs of the characters. Concept art for both the Gotham vigilante and the Ancient Egyptian-inspired hero was released, showcasing important character details like the red hair of Batgirl or scarab infused costume of the Blue Beetle.

The Gold Boots

Both Grant Gustin and followers of the CW’s Flash series have hoped for a major costume upgrade that would finally complete the look of the Scarlet Speedster. Thus far the elusive golden boots of Barry Allen have remained absent from the show.

Fans learned that the Arrowverse is finally set to include the famous shoes so that Flash runs into his eighth series in style. Gustin seemed thrilled by the news and the final look of the costume with the boots feels as if it has been taken straight from the pages of the comics.

Gotham Knights Bare Its Talons

The upcoming Gotham Knights is an exciting project from Rocksteady that takes place outside of the Arkhamverse. It’s set to feature some of Batman’s most beloved supporting characters including Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red Hood. The terrifying Court Of Owls will be the antagonists of the piece.

While fans are traditionally used to a few specifics iterations of Talon terrifying the Bat-family though, the discussion surrounding the title revealed that there would be multiple new versions of the character, with each boasting its own strengths, weaknesses, and connection to the hero. It seemed almost like a tease for the returning Nemesis System with the first look at the Gladiator Talon foreshadowing a tough challenge.

The Justice League In Full Force

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League had an opportunity to shine, as a debuting trailer added some much-needed depth to the current understanding of the title. Of course, fans were aware that the Justice League would feature in the game in some capacity.

Although last time audiences only got to see Rocksteady’s version of Superman after he was absent from the Arkham games, this time around the trailer revealed a look at Green Lantern, The Flash, and even Wonder Woman. These character drops definitely help build excitement for some of the boss battles in store!

Monkey Prince Returns

2022 is looking like a big year for DC, but what would Fandome be without some other news regarding its future publishing ideas. The famous Monkey Prince will be making his return to the comics in his own title that is set to debut next year.

With the cover art getting revealed throughout the marketing event this looks to be a modernized twist on the classic narrative. The shapeshifting hero will be getting a 12 issue run at DC, but Issue 0 is actually available to read now, titled Apokolips In The Heavenly Realm.
